Vacation Packing Hack

(Scroll down to see the hack)

Here’s how vacation packing goes in my house. My husband brings the suitcases up from the basement. He offers to help with “anything”.
I decline, because we’d each have a toothbrush and a couple of pairs of underwear, and I get to work.

I typically make a list or look at one of my old ones – because packing is packing when it comes to my family.

I also gave each of my kids simple instructions to pull some shorts, tees, swimsuits, underwear, and pjs. I’ll do their final packing but it’s usually a good start and gets them involved.

Here’s my current Beach List (definitely not complete):

  • Bikes
  • Helmets
  • Tagalong
  • Beach cooler
  • Towels
  • Sheets – queen, twin, full
  • Beach Towels
  • Food
  • Pillow(s)
  • Light Blanket
  • Beach Blanket
  • Car movies
  • Sunscreen
  • Toiletries
  • Medicine
  • First Aid Kit
  • Pajamas
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Paper towels
  • Trash bags
  • Toilet paper
  • Hand soap
  • Shorts
  • Tees
  • Swim suits
  • Goggles

As I’m gathering everything for our trip to CapeCod, it hit me. There’s an easier way.

Here’s the Vacation Hack

Place an order for toiletries, groceries, household goods on Amazon and have delivered to our rental house.

Now I know I’m not the first person to think of this idea, but I was so mad that it never occurred to me and no one ever shared this idea with me before.

Heres my Amazon Vacation Order:
