(Scroll down to see the hack) Here’s how vacation packing goes in my house. My husband brings the suitcases up from the basement. He offers to help with “anything”. I decline, because we’d each have a toothbrush and a couple of pairs of underwear, and I get to work. I typically make a list or look at one of my old ones – because packing is packing when it comes to my family. I also gave each of my kids simple instructions to pull some shorts, tees, swimsuits, underwear, and pjs. I’ll do their final packing but it’s usually a good start and gets them involved.
