What’s for Dinner?
I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for new inspiration for my dinner menu. It’s easy to get into a rut of eating the same thing week after week. Sometimes it’s hard to think outside of the box…or pizza box.
That’s why I decided to share my dinner ideas weekly. Each week I plan 5-7 dinner ideas depending on what activities that we have on the calendar. I’ll also share my shopping list for those meals to save you even more time.
If you have any meal ideas that are favorites in your house, I’d love to hear them! Please add any ideas to the comments!

- Beouf Bourginon – This is one of my favorite recipes, I can’t count how many times that I’ve made this over the years. If you follow the recipe, it’s really not that difficult and it is amazing! It’s a great Sunday dinner option. I typically make this in my dutch oven for the best results.
- Mashed or Baby Roasted Potatoes (optional)
- French Baguette
Shopping List
- Bacon
- 3lbs Boneless Rump Roast (I will sometimes substitute stew meat, since it’s already cut up)

- Pearl Onions
- Red Wine (dry, I use Bordeaux)
- Spices: Salt, Pepper, Bay leaf, Parsley, Garlic
- Potatoes
- Baguette

Tool of the Week – If you don’t yet have a dutch oven, consider adding one to your kitchen. You can make so many delicious things in a dutch oven because it can easily go from pot to stove. Less dishes to wash with one pot meals too!
Happy Cooking!

Meal planning is the death of me. I often make the same recipes 5 days out of the week and try something new on the weekends. Love this list!
