2020 Super Bowl Party Food

Traditional, Healthy-ish and Keto Snack Ideas

I’m going to be really honest here – I’m not sure that I totally know who is even playing in the Super Bowl. Okay – it’s the Chiefs vs 49ers. Did you know both of their colors are red? Apparently, that’s a big deal. In case you’re interested – the 49ers will be wearing white shirts and gold pants and the Chiefs will be wearing red shirts and white pants.

I like the Super Bowl for two things – 1) the commercials 2) the snacks…not necessarily in that order. Here are some of my favorite game day snack ideas.

Super Bowl Party Food – Main Event

Walking Tacos – If you’ve never head walking tacos, you are missing out. It’s basically tacos in a bag of doritos or fritos. These are a big hit with the kids!

Kansas City BBQ– If you’re a chiefs fan, yo’re going to have BBQ at your Super Bowl Party.

49ers Crab Cake Sliders – Seafood is on the menu for our 49ers fans and what’s better than a crab cake slider?

Ham & Cheese Sliders – These easy hot sandwiches are a hit with a crowd.

Buffalo Cauliflower – Want a healthier buffalo dish? Buffalo cauliflower is really tasty. Keep it light by serving with a yogurt based ranch or blue cheese dip.

Sweet Vidalia Onion Dip / Greek Yogurt French Onion Dip – The first version is amazing and definitely a guilty pleasure. Also consider the healthier version – it packs lots of flavor into a few calories.

Best Bean Dip – With 4 ingredients this cheesy hot bean dip from Lala to Mama is perfect for your party!

Souper Bowl Sunday

Have you ever considered doing a “souper” bowl party?

Choose 2 or 3 of your favorite soups and lots of toppings for your “souper” bowl party.

Make it Competitive: Have a soup contest between you and a few guests. Each participating guest can bring their favorite soup. Have everyone at the party vote for their favorite soups!

Game Day Chili / Veggie Chili – I like chili as a “soup” option because you can add lots of options for toppings: cheese, peppers, sour cream, onions, cilantro, limes, pico, black olives, tortilla chips, corn bread, Fritos
