2020 Summer Bucket List for Kids – 60 Ideas for Keeping Kids Busy

My kids last day of school is in a little over a week. EEK! Even with everything going on, I feel like the end of the year snuck up on me. Maybe it’s because we don’t have all of our end of year festivities like we typically do. Whatever it is, the end of the year seems a bit abrupt and unsettled somehow. In some ways, I’m sad this year is coming to an end. In other ways, I’m just really glad that we’ve made it to the end and everyone is in one piece.

I don’t know about you but typically this time of year, we’re busy making our summer plans or Summer Bucket List. Every year we compile a list of all of the things that we want to do and where we want to go during the summer break.

Our summers days are filled with morning swim practice, followed by packing lunches and snacks to hang out all afternoon at our local pool with our friends. We spend our evenings and weekends watching our oldest daughter and volunteering at her swim meets.

We typically plan a vacation or two at the Jersey Shore or sometimes we go to the mountains. Each summer we always try to do lots of fun activities like the zoo, the water park, the local fair, strawberry picking and so many more.

This year our Summer Bucket List is going to be a bit different. There are many activities that we normally like to do that are already planning to be closed or cancelled this summer. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t have an amazing summer – even if we aren’t planning a traditional vacation to our favorite beach or water park.

Check out our Summer Bucket List for 60 fun ideas for making this an amazing summer!
